Gear Glance: SPOT GEN3

Safety and peace of mind should be forefront of our thoughts before heading out on a run of any kind and the ability to be able to contact emergency services quickly could mean the difference between life and death.

SPOT are a global satellite data and voice carrier that have developed a tracking device and service that gives athletes trace-ability just about anywhere on the planet.
You may have seen the SPOT GEN3 at some trail races around the country (OTTER) and we were given a GEN3 to play around with for a few weeks so once we have thrown it around the bush for a while we will let you know what we think.
