SO, I've been told that Creatine is the bomb for supplementing muscle power, but my own research shows no real benefits from creatine for endurance sports - like mtbking and trail running, which I both do. It is more suited to immediate explosive bursts of power needed, like sprinting and weights, maybe road cycling. Also the associated weight gain as a result of water retention, isn't such a good idea for me.
I find that I'm leaning more towards BCAA's as a supplement that makes more sense for endurance sports.
Anyone here have experience in using creatine? Beneficial or not?
