Seems that a lot of people have a lot of different reasons to run, besides the love of the trail I run to get the head clear and to de-stress. Oh and also so that I feel less guilty having seconds.  :D

I have heard a few odd reasons before ..... so whats yours ?

My sanity and the survival of those around me...

Add to that - I just love being in nature.

Depending on whether it is not AWAY ... IT's cause Im able to and just love the fact that its so accessible and relatively cheap.
Its more just you against the trail leaving kit as a sideshow and not the main event like with other more commercial sports.
Just love it really dont need a reason ;)
It's not where you take the trail but rather where it takes you!

Simple, cheapish and constant self five and "oh sh!t" moments. The satisfaction to stand on top of a mountain and look back, thinking "Did that just happen!?"

..... and there are more ladies that run than those that mtb, so it helps to focus on something else when you are dead tired.... there I said it
